Some questions

Out of curiosity, does anyone know whether a specific date (year) is given for the death of Shannon, Raquel and Pacifica's dad? I just need to know how old Shannon would have been (in the anime/novel storyline), if it's mentioned anywhere.

And while I'm at it, and since I'm too lazy I don't have time to look it up, what is the capital city - where Forsythe and Chris live - called? I know it's probably mentioned several times in the anime, but I can't remember.

Oh, and since it just occurred to me: was Shannon really going to inherit his father's weapons, er... shop (for lack of a better word)? Or is that just something I'm making up (which is perfectly possible, I assure you)... :P

Ooooh, that reminds me. I haven't worked on any new Shannon icons in a couple of days. And I still have 75 more to go! ACK! X_X

Yuma Casull died only a few days before Shannon, Raquel, and Pacifica were forced to leave their home in Manurhin, and yes, Shannon had planned on taking over his work as a weaponsmith. Forsyth and Chris live in Sauer (which derives its name from the Sig Sauer).

The capital city is Sauer (as in the airsoft gun). Not mentioned by name that many times in the anime, mostly just referred to as "the capital city", since it is the only capital city we see.

I think that Pacifica mentions in the anime (while on Skid) that she never asked to be born the Scrapped Princess, and describes the type of "normal" life she would have preferred, which includes Shannon taking over their father's weapons shop (armoury?)

Have no idea what kind of calendar the Sutepri universe uses, but since Pacifica was born 16 years ago at the time of the 5111th Prophecy of Grendel, and the Prophecies are given annually (I think), and at the start of the anime they are fleeing, their father might have been killed shortly before. that_oneill_guy is probably more informative, since he has read the books. :)
