Wanna know how lacking in motivation I am? I cannot manage a drabble. I cannot string together ONE HUNDRED WORDS.

It was just something to say, usually because the situation required more tact than "Sucks to be you." It didn't really mean anything. Even Berkens had used it dozens of times without thinking.

But that was before he'd seen his first Purger.

Did Berkens ever see a Purger? Well, whatever. I find the connection intriguing, and anyway I'm too tired to look it up.

Now the situations in which Berkens might be saying that aloud should be quite interesting indeed...

IIRC Berkens doesn't see a Purger in the anime, though it's been literally years since I watched >_<

I can't remember if Berkens had ever seen a Purger either, but I agree such a situation would be interesting indeed. *g*
