Hello! Was in the midst of searching for images, and I've stumbled upon this community. 8D

How I discovered Scrapped Princess: Two to three years ago, on one fine day, I was bored and decided to lurk on Winamp's Internet TV. And viola! I chanced upon this magnificent anime which got me hooked. <3 After upgrading Winamp sometime earlier this month, I decided to once again journey into its Internet TV annnnd decided to rewatch the entire series. <333

The character(s) I will defend with bike chains and broken beer bottles if I see anyone bashing him/her/them: Fafal! <3 There needs to be more Fafal~ Though I doubt she needs my protection. Of course, there's also Raquel and dear Fulle. I suppose I kinda liked Cz too. Somehow I feel like Eirotte who just met Senes for the first time xD. Speaking of which, chibi!Senes is included in this list. 8D

How I plan to contribute: Fanarts, I suppose? x3 But firstly, I think I need to get my paws on some Fafal images. I can't seem to find them...! *sobs* Help?

Level of exposure: The anime as well as 2/3 of the manga by..whatshisname (Aoi is sincerely sorry for not knowing the name of said artist). The third volume is currently standing on my shelf and waiting to be read.

How SutePri broke my brain: The b00bs. Some characters are too well endowed, they hurt my head. The Pacifica -> Shannon thing kinda puzzled/irked me at times, but I decided to just...leave it be.. ^^; I could never really get the Soopi-kun infatuation either..but oh wells.

How it broke my heart: I got teary at Fulle and Elmeyer's death. *sobs* And worse, it was all during-the-amnesia-period so Pacifica happily forgot everything after regaining her memories. How lucky and convenient that the deaths of people dear or should-be-dear to her occur during this period. It makes me feel so sad for them. )):

What I still don't understand: ..how did the King turn out to be..what he is!? Well, maybe he became frightened and all..but really, a heartless man he turned out to be. Rather cowardly too.. (I apologise if there are like..fans of him out there o_O)More importantly, did Elmeyer ever get to hear Pacifica call her "Mother"? Maybe the whole holy-light-shines-on-thou indicated it did. Then again, I'm not sure. :\ Also, did people find out about the true prophecy, the truth eventually? More puzzling is..if all of mankind were sealed at "Dust-Bin"...when the world was no longer sealed, did they suddenly "reconquer" the whole world? o__O;;

I'm not sure if this really happened or not: I'm still in the process of trying to get the novels. ^^;;

I highly recommend that you read the light novels for Scrapped Princess. They will explain a great deal that is hinted at in the anime and manga. The novels can be found at your local bookstore. I think the third one is currently released in the States.

The whole Shannon/Pacifica thing? Pure sibling love. Pacifica might have a crush on her brother. He's been the only stable male in her life for a long time. It's really just confusion and she gets over it, in the anime. Haven't finished reading the novels yet.

The truth about the prophecy is revealed, from my understanding.

Oh. Cool. Unfortunately, I don't live anywhere near the States, and TokyoPop burns a huuuge hole in my pocket. I'm actually trying to hunt for the Chinese translated versions. I'll see if Kinokuniya has stock. :D

Ah, I was wondering about that. I haven't any idea where you could find the Chinese translated versions but there's an online Japanese bookstore that sells original stuff cheap. Sauage or something like that.

Welcome to the comm, and don't worry--I don't think I've ever stumbled upon any King Bertrick fans. XD I mean, I can understand why he is the way he is, but that doesn't mean I like him.

Once Dustbin is unsealed, it turns out that it didn't contain all of mankind. I don't think it was ever addressed in the anime (really need to re-watch it sometime), but in the . . . I think it was the third novel supplement, this doctor named Hikata comes to Linevan to help them figure out the system that'd been controlling them. Apparently, scientists in the Outside World had long been working to free Dustbin.

Since you came here looking for images, I'm sure you've already seen my scans, but here's a list of the Farfalle I've got up so far just in case.

Oooh. Sneaky aliens deceiving people. In that case, it seems kinda weird to me that the aliens only sealed a part of mankind and left the remaining trying to unseal them. ..To use them as hostages? o_O That also means that, everyone outside of Dustbin has advanced technology, doesn't it?

I think her hair's still supposed to be red--Winia's looks rather pinkish too. Can't remember off-hand whether that's a result of sensei's color choices or just shoddy scanning.

Farfalle's not the official spelling AFAIK. I just try to find previously existing spellings when translating, and I couldn't find any gun-related names that can be written as ファファル(even though technically I've only ever seen "farfalle" written as ファルフェル, ファルフル, or similar). XD; The only other thing I could think of was fafaru, that raw-sewage smelling Polynesian dish, and that's just . . . no.

Anyway, I like the idea of her name meaning "butterflies," even if it conjures up weird culinary images.
