Haha, I never thought of the coattails explanation for Soupy-kun, but you're right. The anime did have a little bit of a shout out when Raquel summoned a bunch of Soupy-kuns to help cook dinner. Even so, I'm not sure I can ever forgive them for cutting Ægir.
