That was a tough one! I'm still not entirely certain how true I remained to the original, which is:
木材本来の暖かみを大切にして茶色を基調として整えられた室内
lumber/timber/wood by nature [possessive or modifying marker] warmth [objectifying marker] tea-color/tawny/light brown that cherishes/with great care/treats as valuable [objectifying marker] as basis/keynote the room's interior has been arranged
Hm. Maybe I should have "the natural warmth of wood" instead. Will need to think more on this.
Count Franchi - yet another character sorely missed in the anime.
The plurality of missing characters does make me more appreciative of the Maruma anime.
