In a twisted way, I suppose I should thank TokyoPop for dropping (I think?) their translation, as its existence gave me yet another excuse for laziness.
(Sakaki-sensei seems to have an overwhelming fondness for ellipses)
It may be a light novel thing, actually! I've noticed similar ellipsis adoration from Ono Fuyumi (Juuni Kokki) and Takabayashi Tomo (Maruma), iirc.
