About the novel translations.

So! Now that the first volume is (finally FINALLY FINALLY) finished, I'm wondering what you guys would prefer to see next. Specifically, would you rather I continue on to the next volume or skip ahead to volume four, since that's where TokyoPop left off?

. . . of course, if [livejournal.com profile] badtzphoto or [livejournal.com profile] feliciter lacks access to the TP translations, then the decision is already made, as far as I'm concerned. Haha.

I've also been thinking of maybe going back through and changing some of the paragraph structures and such. For example, moving some attributions up to the same paragraphs as the dialogue they modify (which I actually did back when I translated the Prologue, lo these many years ago).

Any thoughts? Related to structural issues in general, that is. Basically anything you think might make the prose easier to read.

Dude, as much as I would like to know the later parts of the novel, seeing as how much TP decided to not translate, you would probably be doing the world a lot of good to do the whole thing aha.

Congratulations on finishing book 1! Put party hat on, bells and whistles :)

I do have TP volumes 1-3.

I can go either way, it's been awhile since I've read TP version. It's always fun to read in short installments, to find out new things that I've missed the first time around ...

Thank you for your generosity with the translations!

I think the layout is ok as it stands, though as you say it would be easier if the attributions were inserted in between the translation.
