How I discovered Scrapped Princess: My friend karisma_black got me into the series a long time ago. She even has the right hair to cosplay as Pacifica. ^_^

The character(s) I will defend with bike chains and broken beer bottles if I see anyone bashing him/her/them: Well, I <3 Pacifica, Winia, Zeferis, Racquel, Leo (is it any coincidence that he shares a ton of the same qualities as Amelia, and that Crispin Freeman who voiced Zelgadis is part of the staff?), Cin/Cz and Senes. There's no one who I really hate, except maybe the king, Pacifica's father, and the General. I honestly can't forgive them for what they tried to do.

How I plan to contribute: I wish I could draw, but I can't. I *can* write fanfiction, but I've never done it for this anime before. I can't make icons, either. ._. I probably can pen essays about my favorite pairings, although I haven't put a lot of thought into who my favorite pairings are. Uh, can it be yuri? I fell in love with PacificaxWinia, but I won't do it if it's frowned upon here.

Level of exposure I found the whole series in a complete box set when I was at Sakura Con last April, and it was at a really good price. I just finished the final episode this morning.


How SutePri broke my brain: Probably when Winia started having feelings for Chris, then she wound up being pregnant with his child. It wasn't directly said, but I could guess that much in the final episode when we see Winia knitting a piece of pink cloth. What else was it for? I went back and watched the episode where they first meet. It's just, so ironic.

How it broke my heart: When Pacifica's mother, the Queen, died in prison from being tortured. Before Pacifica got her memory back and realized the truth. That....made me so angry and sad at the same time. I really wanted the King to pay dearly for that. She deserved a more peaceful and happy death.

What I still don't understand: Why did Furet look so much like Shannon? I don't know why, but that rubbed me the wrong way. I mean, Zeferis's old master also looked like him. Seriously, what's with all the Shannon look-alikes? And why did they gave him a girl's name? Oh, and whatever happened to Natalie?

I'm not sure if this really happened or not: I wouldn't know, as I've only watched the anime. Haven't read the novels.

Nope, that's totally fine. I was almost a fan of the pairing myself, until Fulle came on the scene and Winia annoyed me beyond all reason. XD;

Actually it's extremely likely that knitting is an appropriately aristocratic leisure activity in Linevan and therefore need not be baby-related at all. Quite the contrary, I theorize that Winia and Chris's marriage is much like the Baroness and her late husbands', the result being that Winia needs to find other means of passing the time.

Well, that's because Shannon is Beckenham's reincarnation, just like Raquel is Futaba's. As for Fulle's similarity to Shannon, I think we can assume that Pacifica wouldn't have trusted him so instinctively otherwise, which means the arc wouldn't have worked.

And why did they gave him a girl's name?

Shannon is a unisex name.

Oh, and whatever happened to Natalie?

Huh. Good question. I'll have to check up on that when I get the chance.

Oh, another thing that really broke my heart, was when we see the knight-turned doctor who was forced to hurl the baby Pacifica into the ravine.

Just seeing her cute smile as she gets dropped......I couldn't bear it. ;_;

Seriously. I can see why Doyle wasn't able to recover from that. It's one thing tossing a bundle of blankets off a cliff--it's another thing entirely having to see the baby inside.

What broke your heart broke mine too. Severely. It was so frustrating, expecially when, in the end, Pacifica didn't even remember what had happened during the whole time she had amnesia. The fact that she also forgot Furet makes me sad, too.

It was frustrating for me, too. I mean, seriously, why did they make Pacifica forget just about everything right after she had recovered her memory?

What was the point of Furet's character if she doesn't even get to remember him? They killed him off way too quickly!

At least she keeps that souvenir from the bath house, so he isn't completely forgotten....

Even worse when she never realized she had contact with her own MOTHER!

So far there are only 3, but they're worth the cash. There are alot of things they left out of the anime, or barely touched on, and the novels themselves are much more dark than the anime.
