inorite. The details make all the difference. They open up all kinds of fic possibilities as well.

That stumped me too, honestly. Galil uses archaic pronouns, same as Zeffy, but the voice in Shannon's head feels more . . . plainspoken? than either of them. And the way they refer to Galil kind of sounds like they view him as an inferior. They also don't really sound menacing or even aggressive toward Shannon. It's almost like, "Evaporated water condenses as it rises. When it saturates the atmosphere, it precipitates. Gravity acts upon it. Therefore, the precipitation falls. It cannot remain suspended. It is unable to resist gravity. Therefore, it does not." I dunno, though. Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

(I wish I remembered my initial read-through better. It'd make these translations easier if I had the full story in my head.)
