(Which . . . would kind of make her Cernes. OH SHIT what would Cernes be like in this 'verse?) This is not to say that she cannot develop qualms along the way, mind.
I suspect the Church reveres her as a saint and fiercely protects her from those would-be heroes who believe the world can still be saved/is worth saving.
Possibly Mauser is regarded as the god of destruction/rebirth while Browning is the god of preservation/stagnation, I dunno. Go nuts with it.
