I like how--for all the insistence that you can never know another's heart--Shannon knows better than to lie, and manages to comfort Pacifica even when he thinks his words might have the opposite effect.

I do wonder sometimes whether Raquel is sincere about feeling left out. Then again, she does seem more emotionally self-reliant than Shannon.
